In the 12u division the #1 Springfield Tigers defeated Bridgeport Huskies 44 - 6. The #2 Meriden Raiders beat New London 7 -0. The #3 Lynn Rams dominated the Tewksbury Redmen by a score of 26 to 🍩 . #4 Mattapan Patriots came back from a 12 point deficit t to win a walk off 19-18 game versus the Hyde Park Cowboys in Hyde Park. The #5 Leominster Blue Devils won a tight game against Wachussett 13 - 8. #6 North Middlesex Patriots poured it on againt Merrimack Valley Spartans 34 - 🍩 . The #7 Fall River Falcons beat Darlington 27 - 6. The CLCF Chiefs blanked Warwich 13 - 0.

In the Top 10 New England games of the week #6 Mattapan Patriots 12u defeated #4 Leominster Blue Devils 26-13 in Mattapan and #3 Lynn defeated #5 North Middlesex 19-13 in a tightly contented match up. The #1 Springfield Tigers defeated Elm City a lot to and #2 Meriden Raiders defeated Waterbury Knights 43-0. #7 Fall River Falcons 32 over Warwick from Rhode Island. #10 Lincoln Lions over Darlington 30 to 0. #8 CLCF Chiefs 22 unranked Providence 7. New Britain Jr Canes took on the Bridgeport Huskies, this score has not been reported yet.

Top 10 New England was on site at both regional semi-finals games this weekend. The first game took place on Saturday between the #1 Springfield Tigers and the #2 Lynn Rams.

The Springfield Tigers jumped up to 24-0 lead behind Jay Lawrence's two long touchdown runs and Nolan Bonney's 3 extra point kicks (which in youth football are worth 2 points each), Lynn answered back with a long drive and an extra point conversion bringing the game to 24-7, Springfield added another score with a 70 yard strip and score from Amir "8 Pack" Allen. Springfield advances to the AYF regional finals after a 30 - 7 win.

The CLCF Chiefs won a sloberknocker of a game verses the Bedford Bears 19-12. #31 from the Chiefs scored first on a 3 yard scamper, follow by an extra point pitch and catch from #1 to #4 on a great play call (7 - 0 CLCF). #19 from Bears then punched in a 3 yard Quarter Back keeper (7 - 6 Chiefs). #31 then punched in a full back dive bringing the score to 13 - 7. #19 hit #11 on a quick out and #11 took it 60 yards down the sideline for a touchdown bringing the score to 13 -12 CLCF. #21 added a 15 yard touchdown run to bring the final score to 19 -12.

The Springfield Tigers will face the CLCF Chiefs this Sunday, November 20th at Bryant University, Rhode Island, the time is to be determined. The winner will represent New England in the AYF National Championships being held in Kissimmee, Florida.
